Well guys, it's that time.
With the exception of a few weeks at the beginning of Wrath (just before starting Straw Man), I've been going at it non-stop since Vanilla, and I realized about half way through Cata that I'm really burned out. I need a break, maybe a long break.
The goal of our guild had always been to create an environment where laid-back players can have a good time knocking down hard content, free from the kid stuff that usually dominates raiding guilds. On a server like Undermine that was no small task, but I think we've been more than successful, and I'm extremely proud of what our guild has accomplished over the years.
But, everything must end I suppose, and now feels like a good time to close the doors on old Straw Man. Who knows what the future may bring, but for the moment, effective after tonight's raid, I'm packing it in.
To everyone who's helped to make Straw Man what it is, from the early days until today, I can honestly say it's been a pleasure. Yea, this is just a game, but the comradery is real. These have been good times.
I'll be logging in from time to time, but if I don't see you again, I wish you all the best.
So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish Feasts
